Profession: I am a corporate events organiser and founded my event management company, Phoenix Leisure Events Ltd, approx 20 years ago. Working in event management is hugely satisfying and, although running my own company is hard work, the benefits are substantial. I love being my own boss and the freedom that comes with it! In particular, I've spent a lot of time helping my wife Katie bring up our son Fin and daughter Phoebe.

Location: Phoenix Leisure operates out of Bristol but I now live in Bideford, North Devon. My wife and I share a house with our son Fin, daughter Phoebe and our Siamese cat called Henry. We have a 3/4 acre plot overlooking the sea where we grow our own vegetables in loveingly cared for raised beds. We are restoring our house with the aim of turning it into an eco-home. We love living by the sea and our hobbies include foraging for Wild Food- our favourites include Mussels out of the Torridge Estuary, Mackerel and the odd cheeky Sea Bass caught from our boat "Tin Lizzy". We have recently started putting out "long lines" on the beach to catch cod and dogfish.
Marital Status: Married to the very lovely and former Kate Cross. We got married in St Marys Church, Appledore in July 2006. Honeymoon was a camping trip to the West Coast of Ireland where we enjoyed dining courtsey of "Nature's Bountiful harvest!". This consisted of Bantry Bay Mussels plucked off the rocks and delicious freshly caught Mackerel. We also saw Dolphins, Seals and Sea Otters from our tent! In feb 2008 wifey produced a lovely son called Fin followed by our Daughter Phoebe in 2010.
