Gloucestershire Archery: The traditional sport of Longbow Archery is steeped in history and is often referred to as the “Sport of Kings”. Who doesn’t know about the heroics of our mediaeval archers during the famous Battle of Agincourt? Archery has been a permanent sport at the Olympic Games since 1972 and is a great activity to include in any corporate event.

If you don’t already have somewhere in mind then we have a database of Gloucestershire venues and can help you source a suitable location. We can also offer a selection of other great team activities.
Gloucestershire Archery Experience Day- how it works:
We run over 100 archery courses every year and all of our guests receive full instruction. For a typical archery event in Gloucestershire we will arrive in plenty of time to set up all of our equipment. This consists of a white backstop net, butt stands, traditional round straw butts with multi coloured targets (we also offer “Archery Darts” and “Scrabble Archery”!), ground quivers and a selection of right handed and left handed Olympic Recurve Bows. The activity is set against a backdrop of red, white and blue bunting with a mini marquee for shelter (we have enough equipment to provide six archery stands).
Then it’s time to bring out your inner “Robin Hood”! Guests receive full instruction and training from our experienced facilitator and scores are kept to determine the winners.
